Australian game developer, PlaySide Studios (ASX: PLY), has just released three new casual mobile games.

Australian game developer, PlaySide Studios (ASX: PLY), has just released three new casual mobile games.

The first is Toy Warfare, a mobile game where players collect toys that go into epic battles.

Toy Warfare is the sequel to Animal Warfare, PlaySide’s most successful mobile game that has had 7.7 million downloads and ranked 18th on the US App Store’s strategy games chart as at 18th March 2021.

The game was built using PlaySide’s unique development system, WARkit, which enables the company to develop and deploy games rapidly with constant improvements to monetisation and player retention.

PlaySide has also just completed its global launch of Idle Area 51. This casual clicker mobile game has players oversee the management of a secret research facility.

During the launch, Idle Area 51 was featured on the App Store in the US, Canada, Australia and New Zealand. This was an important opportunity to showcase the high-quality design and functionality of the title.

The title has performed well so far, having ranked number 10 on the US App Store strategy games chart, as at 18th March 2021.

PlaySide will expand its player acquisition next week when Idle Area 51 is released on the Android platform.

The third title is Garbage Truck 3D!!!, the latest release in PlaySide’s Tap2Jump series. Developed in just seven weeks, the game has reached number 27 on the overall US App Store charts since its release in early February.

“This result further validates PlaySide’s skills and capability to acquire users in a rapid manner in the largest Apple app store market in the world,” stated the company in the ASX announcement.

Through 2021 and beyond, PlaySide plans to capitalise further on casual mobile game titles through new titles and continuous improvements to the WARkit development system.
